Two-component 100% solids, Thixotropic Pool Paint
Is a two component, thixotropic, solvent free, epoxy paint formulated to maximize pot-life and adhesion without the use of solvents or diluents. It has excellent chemical resistance, high impact and abrasion resistance.

Application procedure
The following guidelines are for concrete pool. For information about pools made of other materials, please contact our support department.

Concrete substrate conditions (standard):
• Hardness: R28 = 15Mpa.
• Humidity: W <10%.
• Temperature: 5-35°C.
• Relative humidity: <85%.

Clean the surface thoroughly, mechanical grinding is highly recommended. The surface of the walls and bottom of the pool must be perfectly flat. Remove oil, grease and wax contaminants. Cement laitance, loose particles, mould release agents, curing membranes must be removed.

Seal cracks, damage, holes with a suitable material. The base must be dry, chemically neutral, even, strong – without cracks and damage, clean – without dust, rust or loose particles.

Mandatory use of SUPERTECTUM AQUA NG primer. Once the primer is dry, seal cracks, holes, fittings, horizontal and vertical corners of the pool with the SUPERTECTUM FLEX PU sealant. Prime all surfaces with SUPERTECTUM AQUA NG and allow 12-24 hours before applying SUPERTECTUM WB POOL.

Before mixing component A+B, mix component A thoroughly. Pour component B into the component A pail and continue mix using a low speed (300rpm) until mixture is completely homogenous. Pay particular attention to the wall lining and bottom of the pail.

On the walls and bottom of the pool, apply the finished mixture with a brush or roller in two layers with a total consumption of 2,0 kg/m2 . The waiting time between layers is 24 hours.

Can be kept for 12 months minimum in the original unopened pails in dry places and at temperatures between 5°C to 25°C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
Although it does not contain volatile substances, it is highly recommended that closed spaces are well ventilated so as to recycle the air in which people will work. The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is available on request.
