Transparent, fully aliphatic, one-component polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane
One-component, polyurethane, transparent, waterproofing membrane, which is cured in conjunction with atmospheres moisture. The material produces an elastic, high-strength, transparent, hydrophobic membrane with excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation. Being aliphatic, it does not turn yellow and does not discolour when exposed to sunlight.
The material is based on pure elastomeric, hydrophobic, aliphatic polyurethane resin, which results in excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal and UV resistance.
Although the material looks colored, especially when it is in large containers, it is stressed that the end result is really transparent.
Application area

• Facing tiles
• Natural stones
• Wood
• Verandas, balconies and terraces (over cladding)
Features and benefits
  • No dilution required
  • Excellent climate and UV resistance
  • Excellent heat resistance, the membrane never becomes soft. Maximum operating temperature 90° С
  • Resistance to cold, the membrane remains flexible even at -35° C
  • Excellent mechanical properties
  • Water vapor transmission
Application procedure
1
If possible, wash the surface with a high-pressure washer at a working pressure of 150 bar, then wait for the surface to dry. Cracks, damage, holes and ceramic seams must be processed with the suitable material. The substrate must be dry, chemically neutral, even, strong - without cracks and damage, clean - without dust, rust or flaking particles. Traces of contamination from oil, oil substances or chemicals must be removed.
2
Priming is required when applied to non-porous/glossy surfaces such as ceramic/glazed tiles. In this case, SuperTectum Trans Primer is used.
For porous surfaces, such as marble, cotto or natural stone, a primer SuperTectum Macro Primer should be applied, but not more than 200 ml/m2.
3
Immediately before application, mix the material until a homogeneous mass is formed with a low-speed mixer (up to 300 rpm). When mixing, prevent the formation of bubbles.
4
As SuperTectum Trans Primer evaporates (approximately 15-20 minutes) , the material is applied with the help of a brush or roller and in two layers. The waiting time between layers is 12-36 hours. And in the case when a primer SuperTectum Macro Primer is used, the material to be applied not earlier than 12 hours later and no later than 24 hours.

The total flow rate of the material is not less than 1.0 kg/m2.
