One-component, transparent, glossy, aliphatic, polyurethane protective varnish
One-component polyurethane protective varnish, the aliphatic composition allows to avoid yellowing caused by direct exposure to sunlight.
The material is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin which provides excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and natural element resistance properties.

Application procedure

The base must be dry, chemically neutral, even, smooth, strong - without cracks and damages, clean - without dust, rust, or loose particles. Cracks, damages, holes should be covered with a suitable material. Traces of contamination from oil, oil materials, or chemicals must be removed. It is recommended to refine the surface mechanically.

Glossy surfaces must be precessed with SuperTectum Trans Primer. When determining primers for the other surfaces, please contact our technical department.

Immediately prior the application, the material must be mixed with a low speed mixer (300 g/min), avoiding air penetration into the material, that can lead to blistering on the cured surface.

Apply with brush, roller or airless spraying in two or three layers. A waiting time between layers is 6-24 hours. Minimum material flow rate for one layer 100 -200 g/m2 , in dependence of a base.

It can be stored for 12 months minimum in the original unopened pails in dry areas and at a temperature from 5° C to 25° C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
Contains volatile flammable solvents. Apply in well-ventilated, no smoking areas, away from naked flames. Indoors, use ventilators and carbon active masks. The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is available on request.
